Personality:
Given what we see in the first season, Bloom has a curiosity in solving things that she herself doesn't know. This is mostly questions about herself or her past of which she knows little to nothing of at the start. She wants to know and understand more about herself and strives to keep at it no matter what, even if at times it might be something that she doesn't want to hear. For example when the Trix made her believe that she was really a witch, or the time when Valtor told her something about her parents and what happened to them. But with this curiosity comes a determined girl, a strong girl who will fight to find the answers that she seeks and helps her achieves her goals.
While Bloom is confident in some areas, things like her relationship are always put into question at least once a season and make her the insecure girl that she can be and is obvious to those who care about her. When Bloom does get into her insecure area, she starts to question a lot of things, even getting rather depressed over it. It can get even worse when she thinks about what could happen, making the situation worse. This part of her personality is shown on more than one occasion. Though while she does question herself, Bloom at least tries to get the answers at times, but when she does it can come off as needy to some. Such as one point when she keeps trying to get to Sky by calling him first on his home phone, then his mobile while he is in a middle of a meeting, Diaspro was the one who mentioned her being needy.
Earlier on, Bloom could have also be considered impatient to an extent. If someone was in trouble she would want to do something there and then, not wait around until things get sorted. The example for this would be in season one when she first confronted Diaspro as she automatically believed that she really was Icy in disguise and was there to hurt Sky. This shows that she doesn't think things over when she believes someone is in trouble or in the moment and so jumps to conclusions, but because of this she can jump into dangerous or just plain stupid situations without thinking, making the situation worse instead of better.
Though Bloom is quick to make choices by herself, usually resulting in something bad happening or things going out of control, but when she is with her group of friends she can also plan the next course of action, as they can stop her before she can make such reckless actions.
A major negative for Bloom is when something goes wrong, Bloom is the first one to blame herself for what happened, such as season one, she blames herself for her powers being taken away. Even though she did it for very good reason, she still can get down in the dumps about it and think it's all her fault, especially since what happens afterwards is not that great. When this happens she loses what confidence she has and it's not as easy to get it back again than it would be if it was something minor.
Even though she managed to save her birth parents she doesn't look at her adoptive parents any less. She understands that they raised her and they still have a special place in her heart, just like her real family has, even if she hasn't been with them as long. That being said Bloom is very loyal to her friends, her boyfriend and even both sets of her parents, adoptive and real. She's cares deeply about them all when needs be and would fight to protect them as best as she could, be it by herself or with them at her side. Bloom can easily trust people, if she believes them of course. Like with Mirta, even though she was a witch to begin with, Bloom didn't treat her badly, like witches do to fairies, she treated her as a friend. This could be because she knew Mirta wouldn't hurt her like the others and that she was different.
Bloom does have her dark side, so to speak of course as shown in season two where her trust in others causes her to have some troubles of her own. When she trusted a professor at her school it causes her to turn into what is known as a dark fairy. It shows that while she can trust others, especially if they are trying to help, that trust is what can be used against her, in order to manipulate her, which proves that while Bloom can be strong, even she has weaknesses that can be easily exploited and used against her. Such as when the Trix captured her adoptive parents. While she did try and help them, it caused her to ultimately 'lose' her powers for a little bit. This weakness is shown in other seasons as well with people using the people she loves, in order to get to her.
Although Bloom's powers are to do with the dragon fire, her theme when it comes to outfits and such has to do with love. Bloom believes in love and has a strong connection to it, not just love to her boyfriend. It's also love of her family and friends, it's what makes her strong as a person and not just the power she wields. She's a caring person with a heart that just wants to help and care for those she meets. She even at times can be selfless, choosing to put others first before herself. It shows during season four when Bloom is more than willing to help Roxy as she understood what the young girl was going through in finding out just who you are and where you came from.
Bloom out of all her friends is considered the leader and it's not just because she's one of the most powerful, she has shown that she is capable of being a good leader, from coming up with a plan for the group to being the one that gives the orders and while in a middle of the fight has shown to at least think, remembering lessons that they had in order to use them in the situation. Overall Bloom is kind, caring and while she does have her flaws she makes up for them with determination and a strive to do what is right and to help those that need it.

It felt odd using abilities that weren't ones she was use to. It meant having to relearn everything instead of understanding what she could do quickly and toning up later. But Bloom had found herself in a situation where it was learn or die. Five monsters had surrounded her as she gripped the handle of her sword tightly, trying to think up a good strategy that could help, but nothing sprung to mind.
As one monster had started to lash out she swung her sword, taking a few steps back and nearly falling over as she did. This was really on tough fight and she knew she had to sink or swim and she was determined to swim. Charging at the creature she managed to swing her sword and watched as it went right though the creature, cutting it in half. She wanted to sigh with relief, but knew she still had four more to go.
When she managed to cut down another she had finally started to realize she could do this.
"Alright. Two down three to go" She said, feeling more and more confident with her new abilities and how it worked. She even had started to figure out her to actually use the sword better. Once she got into position, she was ready to take the rest of.
"Lets get to it!" She launched forward, going towards the rest of the monsters, ready to take them out and protect those who needed to pass.

This is an interesting way of writing to one another. It kind of reminds me of the days before phones and computers. We would all have to write letters to one another. Except in this case the moogle writes what I say.
